Dr. Pradeep Prakash is a passionate and dedicated urologist with more than 15 years of on-field medical experience (including 6 years as a superspecialist). He has exceptional educational qualifications all from the very reputed AIIMS, New Delhi right from his M.B.B.S. to M.Ch. Urology. After completing his super speciality, he pursued his interest in minimally invasive urology and urologic cancer surgery. He has also undertaken a 2 year fellowship in Robotic Surgery and Uro-Oncology from AIIMS, New Delhi. Apart from engaging in routine endo-urologic surgeries for kidney and ureteric stones, benign prostate enlargement, and urethral strictures, Dr. Pradeep Prakash specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgeries (keyhole surgery) for the management of urologic cancers like prostate, kidney and bladder cancers. He regularly performs surgeries such as like nephrectomy (kidney removal) and pyeloplasty (kidney reconstruction) through laparoscopic surgery, which benefits the patients on account of its smaller incisions, lesser pain and quicker recovery. Dr. Pradeep Prakash is also an expert in andrology and male infertility, an often neglected field in our country. He has an indelible experience of running a successful andrology clinic at AIIMS wherein he treated more than 500 male infertility patients. He is also adept at treating adrenal disorders and the rare adrenal tumor, pheochromocytoma. Academically, Dr. Pradeep Prakash has delivered numerous clinical presentations at both national and international conferences. Furthurmore, he has delivered community health talks on various topics ranging from malnutrition in children, malaria prevention, HIV and sanitation to tuberculosis during his study years. Apart from this, he frequently organizes urologic health camps in underprivileged areas.
