About Me

With more than 2 decades of experience in the medical profession, ex-Indian Army Haematologist, Dr. (Col.) Tarun Verma is among one of the most respected haematologists and haemato-oncologists. Having been trained at the top-most institutions of the country, he was the first to perform a stem cell transplant at Command Hospital, Udhampur (Jammu & Kashmir). During his tenure at Command Hospital, Lucknow, he was the first to perform 9 autologous stem cell transplants as well as to establish a haematology and bone marrow transplant centre (only the third of its kind in Lucknow). While at the Army Hospital (Referral & Research), New Delhi (2015-2017), under his expert supervision, over 500 allogenic and autologous bone marrow transplants were performed by the centre. Apart from this, Dr. (Col.) Tarun Verma has had an illustrious teaching career as well.
